Hi Mick,

I saw that Phil Edwards signed in. Hey mate I don't remember getting paid either! Who cares, those early gigs were great fun. Hope you like the Steela poster I sent you. Please don't put it on the website!

Speak to you soon.

Steve

Hey Michael

I've often thought about the Lonely Hearts and wondered if there was a way to hear some of the sounds again. By chance I thought I'd do a google search and found your site. I've been checking out the pages for a couple of hours and reminiscing. I don't know if you will remember me, I was doing the lights for a while, I still have a reference from you which says I worked for the Lonely Hearts from January 1982 to July 1983. looking at the gig history, I remember a lot from that period. I was on the crew with Tim, Mick and Paul.

Great to see the web site and a fantastic resource, well done!

I'll bookmark the site and check in from time to time.

Cheers
Rob

As the musically challenged Heart brother of Reservoir Rd I have always been surprised at the near hysteria caused by the gang in those days. If only they realised that they actually couldn't do it by themselves & would have to share with promoters record coy execs scrupulous or otherwise, what may have been? Still considering the idea of the band was to get into gigs for free and in my case getting into more exclusive & expensive gigs for free, I think it all worked out OK, don't you?

Brought back a lot of memories, Sefton Hotel, Dee Minor, Hands Off.
I wake up every morning to a framed poster of the Capital Theatre gig, Mi-Sex & The Lonelyhearts.
Shall tell my mates about the site.
Kind Regards, Grant.
